The Campus Violence Prevention Taskforce is a group of student representatives from all over the state who are committed to ending intimate partner violence on campus. The student-led Taskforce will meet monthly to discuss trends, opinions and ideas related to prevention and response efforts on their individual campuses. The purpose of this Taskforce is to help inform the work of the NCCADV Campus Program and allow student voices to influence campus related work on a statewide level. Applications close May 17th, 2024.

The NCCADV Campus Program is forming a Campus Violence Prevention Taskforce with student representatives from all across the state. Student applicants should be able to meet the following requirements:

  • Commitment to serve for the full 2024 Fall Semester
  • Attending one virtual meeting per month, lasting 1.5 hours
  • At least one in-person meeting (location in Durham, NC at NCCADV office)
  • Passionate about ending intimate partner violence on college campuses
  • 2nd year undergraduate student to graduate level students welcome to apply
