  • Clinical Mental Health students seeking internship experiences for population exposure

  • NCCADV does not offer paid internships
  • Intern positions are usually remote but may be based out of the NCCADV office in Durham
  • The Legal and Policy Internship Opportunities are generally reserved for current Law School students
  • Internships can be by semester or can last the entire academic year

Campus Violence Prevention Representative

The Campus Violence Prevention Taskforce is a group of student representatives from all over the state who are committed to ending intimate partner violence on campus. The student-led Taskforce will meet monthly to discuss trends, opinions and ideas related to prevention and response efforts on their individual campuses. The purpose of this Taskforce is to help inform the work of the NCCADV Campus Program and allow student voices to influence campus related work on a statewide level. Domestic Violence Prevention Internship

The student intern will be tasked with providing research and administrative support to NCCADV’s violence prevention efforts and other programs as needed. This may include but is not limited to creating digital communication materials and public outreach plans. The intern will collaborate with other NCCADV staff to develop and implement communications and publicity strategies.  The intern will promote audience engagement with NCCADV’s digital content, with the goal of educating audiences about Intimate Partner Violence.
