October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and we’re excited to share several events happening in communities across North Carolina! We invite you to explore the list below and find opportunities to connect, raise awareness, honor survivors, and stand together in support of a future free from domestic violence.
As you plan your DV awareness efforts, we also encourage you to check out NCCADV’s Lights Still on short film and companion toolkit. This short film highlights the challenges domestic violence programs face in sustaining critical services for survivors, while the toolkit offers discussion questions, data, and advocacy resources.
