Join the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCCADV) for our 2026 Virtual Conference on September 2nd and 3rd, 2026. This two-day event is a statewide gathering focused on strengthening advocacy, deepening connection, and exploring innovative approaches to supporting survivors and our North Carolina communities.
This year’s conference will bring together advocates, prevention professionals, clinicians, housing and shelter staff, educators, campus professionals, survivor leaders, and multidisciplinary partners from across North Carolina and beyond.
Through engaging workshops, conversations, and community-building opportunities, participants will explore the evolving realities of domestic violence work and the collective strategies needed to sustain our movement.

About the Conference
Our 2026 Virtual Statewide Conference is designed to create space for learning, collaboration, and connection among professionals and community members working to address domestic violence and other intersecting forms of harm. This year we have three focus areas:
- Leadership
- Mental Health and Substance Use and Domestic Violence
- Housing and Shelter
Additional session content areas will center:
- Organizational sustainability
- Prevention and community engagement
- Trauma-informed and survivor-centered practices
- Campus and youth/young adult advocacy
- Culturally responsive services
- Systems advocacy and coordinated responses
Participants will leave with practical tools, emerging strategies, and renewed connection to the broader movement to end domestic violence.

Yes. All conference sessions and events will take place virtually through our online conference platform.

Yes. The conference is open to anyone who supports NCCADV’s mission.
Are scholarships available?
No, we have worked to make this conference as accessible as possible with our conference registration rate beginning at $30.00.

Will you offer Continuing Education Hours?

When does registration open?
Registration will open June 15th, 2026. Early Bird registration will be available until July 31st Registration will close August 28th
When does call for proposals open and close?
