About Technical Assistance
We act as a sounding-board for a variety of issues that arise when supporting survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV). IPV may include: domestic violence (DV), sexual violence, dating violence and/or stalking. Our staff use their expertise and training to help individuals and agencies analyze their concerns. TA does not take the place of training or legal advice received. Instead, it supplements the training and legal advice you may have already received. We provide TA in English, Spanish, and all other languages using a language line.
We provide a variety of technical assistance to those working in the field of domestic violence and allied professions. Available TA includes:
- Answering questions over the phone, by email, or Zoom
- Providing informational packets prepared on specialized topics
- Surveying the research in a selected field
- Program materials
- Hosting peer-learning or community of practice events
- Making referrals to appropriate affiliated programs or services

We work with a variety of partners to keep the issue of domestic violence in the public eye. Our local and statewide collaborations have produced several media and print campaigns. Additionally, national resources are often available to us for awareness campaigns.
