LGBTQ Domestic Violence Response Initiative

Through funding from the NC Governor’s Crime Commission, NCCADV and The Center for Women’s Health and Wellness at UNC Greensboro have formed the LGBTQ Domestic Violence Response Initiative.

This project aims to increase the capacity of domestic violence service providers to serve LGBTQ survivors in ways that are equitable and culturally relevant. We have partnered with five local anti-domestic violence organizations who have each brought on a new hire to take lead on building this capacity in their agencies and communities.

For technical assistance on serving LGBTQ survivors in your county please contact NCCADV’s LGBTQ Services Specialist, Sam Watson (she/hers), at swatson@nccadv.org.
